Bright Eyes Live

I have not shared in the enthusiasm for 'Bright Eyes', a.k.a Conor Oberst. His previous releases just did not grab me. But I have just listened to a live concert (on NPR) and then checked out the two (!) new releases he has, and its funny - one is really good, and one quite bad... I'm Wide Awake It's Morning Is quite lovely. You can listen to the best track, 'Lua', right here. The angst seems less sophomoric, and harmonies from the likes of Emmylou Harris don't hurt. Stay away from 'Digital Ash in a Digital Urn' is all I'm going say about that CD.
