The Guv'nor
John Martin has been around so long he seems eternal. He took part in the electric folk movement of the sixties and has stayed relevant today with trip hop. His first LP London Conversation was recorded in 1967, in mono... in 1968 he was playing live regularly on the BBC. He has released over 80 albums since, including 'Solid Air' which feature 'I don't want to know' and 'May you never' which have been covered countless times, like many other tracks of his. 'Glasgow Walker' is another must have. The reason for this post is a rare live recording of 'Anna' not found on any Album as far as I know. Just a lovely acoustic song of a really important artist. |
