The goats are John Darnielle and whomever of his friends that are around when he is recording, usually in his bedroom. He sings about South American mythology, breaking up, violence, road trips - in short - about everything. 'Baboon' (click on the right to listen) is beautiful, and I recommend 'The Coroner's Gambit' as the album to get first. Listen to 'Horser Adish Road'.
