Dan Bern

I first heard Dan Bern on KPIG, back when their broadcast stream was free. That sounds like it should date me but it is probably only less then two years ago... So I heard this guy sing his 'Kids Prayer' and it was one of those very rare moments when art changes you. The track is unreleased as far as I know, but you can listen to it by clicking to the right of this text. Please listen to it more then once! Another of my favorite tunes is 'The Fascist in Me'. It is difficult to recommend a single DB album, but a good starting point would be 'Smartie Mine' with 27 tracks, covering the range of subjects and emotions Dan deals with.
