I first met Kathy Ziegler in Ithaca in the early 90's. She was part of the amazing Ithaca music scene playing in the cafe's and festivals. It is there that she hooked up with Donna The Buffalo with whom she still tours, playing keyboards. But her album is entirely hers - she wrote all lyrics and music and plays all instruments. It's Lo Fi in parts, heart breaking in many places - 'Street Light' for example is an evocative latenight guitar and piano accompanied track. A mature work from a woman I've always wanted to know better...
